Activation!
Hi LM colleagues! Tamiko, Ali, and Mani--you all have been doing such great work on manifesting LM as a critical part of health for individuals, workers, and populations! I would love to have a group meeting to discuss how we can amplify this message to some of the professional groups we are beginning to engage. Ali-I know you are working on a white paper--do you have pub date yet?
I recently attended a climate focused meeting in the investment sector--and when I mentioned I was a LM pracitioner everyone said "what's that." When I explained it there was huge interest. There are sig growth opportunities for LM beyond direct care. Would love to get this out!
Perhaps we can have a meeting to brain storm about next steps.
Send me an email if you are interested!
Best,
Emily

Thank you all! I'm not lead author on the climate/lifestyle white paper so the timing is out of my hands. But I'm guessing it'll be out sometime next month and certainly before the ACLM annual meeting this Nov. Happy to meet with you after the white paper is released or before then if it would be helpful and I can report back to ACLM's global sustainability committee on thoughts for future collaboration of dissemination of the climate/lifestyle medicine message. In the mean time, my colleagues and I published a white paper on climate and stroke that just came out:
